2.2.2. Tension of a maple belt
Cars without gear lath on an arm
  
 Because of increase in power generation by the generator of alternating current, check of a tension of a maple belt became more important.
The following indicators have to be defined when checking a tension of a maple belt when pressing on a belt by a thumb.
Maple belt up to 1000 mm long, maximum deviation and:
new maple a belt – about 2 mm
maple the belt which was in operation – about 5 mm
Maple the belt is longer, than 1000 mm, the maximum deviation and:
 new maple a belt – about 10 mm
maple the belt which was in operation – about 15 mm
The given values are valid for cars of all modifications.

          1) weaken bolts In, With and a hinged bolt of a support (it is not shown in the drawing)  | 
         
         
           
             
            Prevention  
             Bolts of fastening have to be rather weakened that the generator could move freely under the weight. 
             
           | 
         
         
          | 2) pull maple a belt rotating a tension gear wheel In by means of a wrench  | 
         
         
           3) a free hand check the maximum deviation of a belt under pressure of a thumb   for a new belt the deviation has to be 8 mm   for an old belt the deviation has to be 4 mm  | 
         
         
          | 4) twirl or turn off a tension gear wheel to achieve a necessary deviation  | 
         
         
          5) after that, tighten fastening bolts till the next moments of an inhaling:   the bolt inhaling moment In: 35 N. of m.  the bolt inhaling moment With: 20 N. of m.  support bolt inhaling moment: 35 N. of m.  |
