1.5.5.1. Headlights of forward light
To get access to headlights of forward light from a motive compartment, in the beginning it is necessary to remove the following:
For receiving access to a left headlight of forward light, remove a casing, having turned off screws with a head under the crosswise screw-driver.
Audi 1986-1989 models of years
| For receiving access to a right headlight of forward light, remove a rubber strip, and then an inlet hose of the air filter in the beginning. Press on clips in the direction of an arrow and remove a casing. |
Audi 1990-1992 models of years
| For receiving access to a right headlight of forward light, remove an inlet hose of the air filter having pressured him in the direction of an arrow (A). Press on clips in the direction of an arrow (V) and remove a casing. |
Open a cowl and prop up it.
Disconnect the connection socket.
| Turn a lock ring counterclockwise, pull out a bulb and insert new. |
Establish a new bulb so that lock uvulas of the case of a headlight got to deepenings on a bulb.
Establish a lock ring so, lock uvulas of the case of a headlight got to deepenings on a ring.
Turn a lock ring clockwise so that it became dense into place.
Connect the connection socket. Check adjustment of a beam of a headlight.
Adjustment of headlights of forward light
The correct adjustment of headlights of forward light is very important for safety of driving. Adjustment of headlights of forward light has to therefore to be carried out only with use of the special equipment.
Open a cowl.
Adjust installation of headlights of forward light by means of a universal wrench.
On an illustration the location of adjusting screws of a left headlight of forward light is shown. The arrangement of adjusting screws of a right headlight is symmetrically opposite.
