9.1.1. Elimination of resonance / vibration of a cross-piece (4-cylinder models)

The rumble or the buzz of a cross-piece appearing at increase in turns of the engine up to 1800–2000 rpm can be caused by vibration of a cross-piece.

Further the description of operation of installation of a balance weight for elimination of resonance / vibration of a cross-piece of a forward suspension bracket is provided.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1) remove the left fixing arm of the sound filter

2) remove the lower nut and a washer of the left fastening of the engine

3) clear a carving of bolts of fastening of the engine

4) apply a glue layer on a carving of bolts of fastening

5) detail of D 000 600

6) establish a balance weight, a detail 893 199 333 and the plug, a detail 893 199 467
7) inhaling moment: 40±5 N. of m.

8) establish into place all removed elements upside-down of removal
