Measurement of resistance of the regulator
The air diaphragm regulates proportions of fuel and air in the mix which is soaked up in the carburetor during launch of the cold engine in a phase of heating of the engine and acceleration during driving with the cold engine. The regulator of provision of an air diaphragm moves it through system of levers. In essence, it is the small electric motor operated by impulses from the equipment of management, providing bystry and exact change of provision of a diaphragm.
Along with the help of the lever placed on the other side of a diaphragm axis the section of the jet correcting turns of idling of the engine changes.
Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1) warm the engine up to the temperature of 60 °C |
2) kill the engine |
3) remove the air filter |
4) moving a diaphragm, check whether very big resistance in the place of its laying appears |
5) start the engine and leave it to idle |
6) watch a diaphragm and at the same time add gas, rotating the lever on about 1/3 turns between the provision of idling and full opening of a throttle |
7) the diaphragm has to bend sharply towards situation "course is closed", and then return to a starting position. |
8) if the diaphragm does not change the situation, it is necessary to check resistance of the regulator of provision of a diaphragm |
9) disconnect a plug from the regulator of provision of a diaphragm |
10) measure by an ohmmeter resistance between the terminations of the regulator, its size has to equal 0.9–1.7 Ohms |
11) measure resistance between each termination and weight whether there was no short circuit. |
12) if the diaphragm regulator normal, it is necessary to check a throttle potentiometer |
13) kill the engine |
14) connect the disunited electrical wiring elements |
15) install the case of the air filter |
