8.1.2. A fork - the main cylinder of coupling

Hydraulic system of coupling

1. Tank of working liquid
2. Consolidation
3. Hydraulic hose
4. Main cylinder of coupling
5. Lock nut
6. Fork
7. Pin
8. 20 N. of m.
9. Clamp
10. Working cylinder
if the working cylinder has a plastic basic ring, slightly grease an external surface of a ring before installation
11. Washer
12. 25 N. of m.
13. The valve for pumping
open only for pumping
use the tool for pumping of the brake system 1116
maximum working pressure: 25 bars
14. Connector, 15 N. of m.
15. A delivery tube (with a pressure head hose)

Do not squeeze out a coupling pedal at the removed working cylinder.

Before adjustment of a fork of the main cylinder of coupling make sure that the fork of the amplifier of the brake system is adjusted according to the necessary height of a pedal of a brake.

The uncoupling device

1. Working cylinder of coupling
at installation move with the lever to insert a bolt
2. 25 N. of m.
3. Pusher
grease the end
4. Squeezing bearing
wipe, do not wash
if publishes noise, replace
5. A bolt with a head under a face key, 35 N. of m.
self-stopped, always replace
6. Squeezing lever
wipe, do not wash
if publishes noise, replace
7. Returnable spring
record on the squeezing lever
8. The directing plug
9. Epiploon of an entrance shaft
take from the plug the VW 681 tool
insert the tool 4450
10. Ring consolidation
always replace
11. Washer
smaller diameter (the curved party) is directed to the directing plug
12. Expansion detail
13. A core with a spherical tip (25 N. of m)
14. Transmission

Before installation of a clutch plate clear vents of an entrance shaft, and also nave teeths if the disk is reused, of traces of corrosion and the remains of lubricant. Apply very few lubricant (G 000 100) only on vents of an entrance shaft. Establish a disk on a shaft and move back and forth until the nave of a disk easily slides. Remove all excess lubricant.

1) check adjustment of a fork of the amplifier of the brake system: and = 269.0 mm + 0.5 mm

During measurement the pusher has to be perpendicular the surfaces of the amplifier of the brake system.

2) adjust a fork of the main cylinder of coupling: and = 116.0 mm + 0.2 mm
3) the pedal of coupling has to be about 10 mm higher than a brake pedal
4) the returnable spring has to return a coupling pedal in a starting position
5) the pedal of coupling should not concern an arm in a starting position

The insufficient gap between a pedal of coupling and an arm results in premature wear.
